Notarial authentication, apostille and legalisation made easy

My services

Notarisation

I will notarise your documents quickly and efficiently and do my best to fit into your timetable.  Where possible, I will use online tools to meet you and to verify your documents.  Otherwise, we will need to meet at your office or mine or somewhere else convenient.

Apostille services

You are likely to need an apostille if an official in another country has asked you to provide a UK document and told you it must be legalised.

I can assist you with using the UK Government's legalisation service to verify that your document and its signatures, stamps or seals match the Government's own records. Once verified as correct, your document will be legalised by attaching an ‘apostille’ certificate.

Legalisation

Some overseas territories require that your documents are presented to their UK consulate or embassy for additional verification before they are sent to your contact overseas.  I can assist in you in arranging for this to happen.  Consular legalisation is a specialist field and you will definitely want help with this work.

Availability

I am based in Bedford and will do my best to be available according to your requirements.

Where practicable, I will offer an enotarisation service; that depends on whether enotarisation will be effective for your purpose.

I will receive clients at my office in Bedford.  I may be able to travel to meet business clients at their office, on a basis to be agreed.

When you contact me, please be ready to send me by email copies of correspondence that you have received and other documents relating to your notarial requirements,  in order that I may assess your requirements.

Plugged in to your notarial needs

Online and electronic services where possible

Where accepted in your receiving jurisdiction, I will rely upon electronic notarisation services and the application of an e-apostille.  This approach can only be used where my work product will "work" for the recipient of your document.  I will assess this on a case-by-case basis and do my best to help you and make the process easy and efficient.

My pricing, cost and expenses

The cost of my service will be tailored to your unique circumstances.  Many people approach me hoping for a cheap service.  My preference is to offer you a high quality service, that fits in with your requirements, so far as possible.  My service will provide you with a notarial guarantee that is recognised internationally as my personal guarantee that you are who you say you are and your document is what it says it is.  You require a document is that is legally valid and binding in the UK and in your receiving jurisdiction and my purpose is to deliver that to you.

Notarial services

I will listen to your service requirements and review the documents you send to me to offer you an agreed price for my work.

My price will be exclusive of VAT, where applicable.

Apostille services

An apostille is a certificate provided by the Government.  Various speeds of service are available and come at a different price.  The cost of the apostille will be in addition to the cost of my notarial service.

Location

I am located close to the town centre in Bedford.  You can arrange to visit me at my home office or I may be able to come to you.

Quality

Everything I do centres on providing a service of the highest level of quality. I won’t stop until you’re 100% satisfied – that’s a guarantee.

Efficiency

I pride myself on offering you an efficient procedure and solutions, but I will continually strive for improvement in order to deliver results more effectively.

Fair Prices

Satisfying my clients is my top priority. I will offer you what I think is a fair and transparent price and make clear my fees and anticipated additional costs and expenses for your approval before they are incurred.

Power of attorney

A power of attorney is a very powerful document that authorises a third party to make broad ranging decisions on your behalf.  The scope of those decisions must be set out in the document.

Overseas authorities are very concerned to see that the document has been properly executed.  Some of those overseas authorities, in particular those in India, are very specific about how the document must be treated.

Recent experience suggests that when finalising a power of attorney, particular attention will need to be paid to each person assembled signing each page, photos of the grantor may need to be attached and an apostille will almost invariably be expected.

All these requirements take time to understand and get right on a case by case basis, so please keep that in mind when planning your visit to get your document notarised.

Our family-run business company has a long tradition in the industry. It was founded in 1982 by Joey Lord, who passed the business onto his son, Roberto, in 2005. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service to order to guarantee that all of our clients are 100% satisfied.
