Electronic notary services are in their infancy. I am now able to offer the service of an e-apostille, meaning that I can arrange for the government to apply its stamp electronically. The document is sent to its user by email. Not many places, however, are set up to receive notarised documents, electronically. I will always check to see if I can use one because it is a much better way to deliver your final document: immediate, guaranteed delivery by email and it saves on courier fees, too.
