Providing notarial copies

A good illustration of this is where an overseas bank wants reassurance as to the incorporation and continuing existence of a company or charity or charitable incorporated organisation (often referred to as a “CIO”).  To assist with matters of that type, I will carry out the necessary research into the UK entity and prepare a notarial certificate that attaches the copies extracted from the public record.  My investigation of a CIO will always require me to look at the public record of the Charity Commission for England and Wales (The Charity Commission - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)) or the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR | Home) or the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (Home | The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (charitycommissionni.org.uk)).
